Working parents are sharing their views on parental leave on LinkedIn, following news that the Princess of Wales inspired Deloitte to change its policy on paternity leave. The global accounting firm now offers new fathers six months of full paid leave. The Princess of Wales urged other businesses to follow suit, although some called the policy “ridiculous“. Fathers welcomed the equal paternity leave, with many saying they were able to support their partner’s return to work and bond with their child. One father said it had been “the most joyous and rewarding thing I’ve ever done in my life”.
